2010 town and country 4.0l-open injector circuit cylinder 3, and cylinder misfire #3
hello,
2010 town and country 4.0l-open injector circuit cylinder 3, and cylinder misfire number 3
I have owned this vehicle for 3 years or so,
Recently Have gotten a check engine light, that sometimes flashes and has dinging sound,
I notice that sometimes it occurs after a restart, and sometimes it seems to clear itself(check
engine light goes off). Sometimes, it will stay running bad for some time.
I have replaced the coil on number 3,and have done a boot kit and plugs.
I have doubts that it is the injector? not sure
One last thing, sometimes after starting, when I pull out to drive, the transmission does not come out
of 1st gear, and will not shift manually either.
I then pull over ,shut off the van,remove key, open and close the door and restart, and
then it will function properly and sometimes not reoccur for quite awhile.
any thoughts or ideas? Fluid is good and full.
I do own a "appcar diagFCA" program/tool , just thought i would mention it, because of the possibily
it might help, although i would need instructions, I used it to turn off the tire sensors.
p303,203 sometimes i can drive it for 6-7 days and it will not occur., it is my assumption that an injector works or not?
I replaced the pcm, because alot of the symptoms of a bad pcm ,fit my situation, waste of money .....
Would a bad ground somewhere do this?
can an injector be intermittent ?
