Angry 2013 TC Slider Doors not working right

Hey Guys, I am new. My 2013 is sitting at the dealership for 2 days now and will be collecting dust for another 2 days till they can try again on Monday. My slider doors are broken, however I guess now while it is at the dealership, no codes or issues. I have videos of the issues that were taken the day before I made my appointment. I know I have the support of the Service Drive Manager, who said he understands the safety side of the issues and having kids get in the way.

I am going to try to get videos in this post, somehow. I am trying google drive links.

Drivers side slider: Will open about 90% and then auto close. However there is ZERO bounce back. It hit my shoulders, then clicked backwards till it eventually stopped. I then had to manually try to close it. Turned the car on and off, seeing if that would help the push button close. Sometimes, it cannot be manually closed and it does not shut properly.

Passengers side: Refuses to open at all at time. You can hear the motor, but it will only open a tiny bit. If you have to force it closed, it will have a gap on the backside of the door that sticks out. I can usually manually swing it closed, but then it won't latch closed.

All these things are worse while at an incline. Our kids school, driveways, parking lots that are not 100% flat will cause worse issues. However, we have to be able to let the kids out of the van or get in the van. This is our only car that fits our entire family, so it is very frustrating to not be able to go anywhere as a family right now. I have to get help to get kids to school because it is too far to walk and walking the kids that are at the closer school.

I do not know what to do. When these things happen at least once a day, and for 3 days the passenger side refused to open at all... but the doors go through a lot of open and closing each day. Can anyone help me, help my car get fixed?

Default I feel your pain

Hi buddy

we feel your pain we have had issues with one door like you but ours also causes battery drain. Considering unplugging all the electrics now and having it run 100% manual.

sorry i can’t provide any more than moral support. hope you get it sorted.
