Default 2014 Electrical issues, flashing dash, no speedo

Ive used the search and found a few threads, but no answers as to what the problem may be.

This has happened twice within the last week, we can be driving at any speed and the dash/warning lights start flashing, a/c shuts down, wipers turn on/off and no speedo. I know i dont need to elaborate on the dangers/inconvience of no speedo but what the heck is going on. Of course its out of bumper to bumper warranty at 54,ooo but its only 2 years old. This is my first chrysler purchase(owned for 6m) an have been satisfied upon till now. The dealer wants me to bring it in for diagnostics and reflash the PCM, but after reading older complaints on the 4th gen models about wiring issues (specifically at the drivers door harness) i doubt a PCM flash will work and definately dont wont to pay for it if its not fix. Could it be a wiring issue after only 2 years of being on the road? any help would be appreciated

Things ive checked so far:
battery charges at 13.9vdc
cleaned battery terminals and leads
wiggled, poked and prodded wire harness connectors look for loose connections

i have checked the battery ground, the 2 grounds behind the battery on the fire wall and the one bellow the battery on the frame rail. There is also a ground strap on the passenger upper engine mount that has some corrosion which a cleaned.
heres a link to the video of the issue

update, i left the battery disconnected all day (9hrs).
started the van
ran at idle for 10 minutes with no alerts.
turned the blind spot setting back to on
got a message blind spot system not available
still running ok, no wierd flasing lights or wipers
shut the driverside door pretty hard and
all hell broke loose. Back to the same ole same.

could it be a loose connection in the door or did the jarring of the door
shutting affect a loose connection in the gauge cluster.

Unfortunately that could be quite a few things. Because of the errors it's throwing up my guess would be it's affecting the CANBUS system, throwing bad messages throughout so the computer BCM gets confused. That would also explain why a battery off would 'soft' reset the problem until it gets a short/bad connection again. If you do the computer 'hard reboot' that's mentioned in the forums (basically take both leads off battery. Touch both leads [NOT BATTERY] of the car together which will short any discharge capacitors and cause BCM reset) and see if it instantly fixes the problem until another bump/thump then that's most likely the issue.

My suspicion would be the wiring in the door has become frayed and one of the wires become exposed and may be touching the door (i.e. grounding) or similar and causing spurious messages through the car CANBUS. I think I'd look there before taking it in and spending cash on a PCM flash, as generally closing a door, etc, wouldn't cause a faulty PCM flash to re-occur (A faulty PCM flash would be contstant, not intermittant)

thanks, those are my thoughts exactly. I wasnt sold on the PCM flash either, however im getting a constant message about the BSM now. I found the sensor with a bunch of dirt/debris. Im going to remove and clean them this afternoon and do a hard reset again

Just found this on driver side Blind spot sensor with burn/corrosion at the connection. There is also damage to the 2 white CAN wires that are terminated in the connector, looks like water damage. I will be ordering a new sensor and wire harness and hope the madness goes away.

With the sensor disconnected the van still acts up as soon as I put the vehicle in motion. Should this be expected?
