Default 2014 Town & Country rear window switch recall

I had the rear swing out window switch disconnected last May. No one knows when the switch will be made available. Will someone please tell me when Chrysler plans on delivering the switch to the dealerships? I paid for those windows and I want to be able to use them. This is unacceptable.

I see this is a couple of months old, but I'll add this anyway -

I just bought a 2013, and when checking the Carfax I noticed that the switch had been flagged. I asked the dealer if it had been replaced and he said no because a new switch was not available yet. He said they had disabled the windows.

Delays certainly are frustrating.
Chrysler is using all resources to expedite the process and make parts available to all affected vehicles.
Disconnecting the switch is an option in the meantime however not mandatory.

Thanks for the reply.

So can you tell me what the issue is with the switch?

Apparently the door switch that controls the swing out windows can overheat and cause a fire

Yes, Chrysler Recall P25 is to replace the rear vent window switches. At this time the interim action is to disconnect the switches. I work for a vehicle rental group, and we ran across this:
