Default 3.8 Litre Fuel Injector Noise

Anyone ever clean the fuel injectors in a 3.8 litre v6? Mine are ticking with varying degrees of noise at different injectors. Thanks for any help!

I do not think a fuel injector will make a noise loud enough that you can hear it the only moving part is the size of a needle.

Actually, the Chilton Manual mentions using a stethoscope to verify injector operation by hearing the clicking noise. My front injectors definitely click, some louder than others. I just wanted to know if I removed the injectors and cleaned them, would they quiet down.

As I recall, the solenoid in the injector, the part that would make the noise, is a sealed unit. The only thing you can clean are the electrical connector contacts and the spray tip.

Hey 67 Camaro, What exactly do the injectors sound like, i.e. does it kind of sound like a lifter or so clicking? I have noticed that type of noise on my 05 T&C with the 3.8 liter and as far as I can tell there is no way to adjust the valves lifters etc.
It has annoyed me to death as I hate noisy engines
