Default 99 TnC Ltd. AC problems, an old issue.

The history. We bought this car used. The Dealer in Texas put in a new AC Pump. I'm gonna assume they could not find the real reason the AC does not cool well, so they guessed at it. Replacing the pump wasn't the answer. When we got back home our local AC guy put some dye in and it showed the Pump was leaking all over. Guessing it was from too much pressure.
All that pressure forced a little seam to leak in the part inside the dash and that cost me $500. He replaced the orfice at the same time.
Still not much cool AC.
I took it to the Dealer. He wanted to charge me for trouble shooting.
Then when he finally found out the Seals were leaking, he wanted to charge me to replace the pump.
I had the Seller call him and verify the pump was still in a Guarentee, but the local dealer still held out for a Two Hr charge to replace the pump, and the Freon.
I said no! I was hopping mad at Chrysler and all the skunks in their sales organization.
Two or three years has gone by. I kept adding Freon as needed.
Still very little cold AC unless we turn on the max AC and keep the blower up on the third position.

The current complaint:
Water dripping on the floor, in the glove box too.
Fog coming out of the vents.
Inside the car it's humid.

Who can tell me what to do about this current problem?

First of all the dealers are only a part of chrysler. Ever been to a Mcdonalds and its not owned by Mcdonadls but uses there name?? thats the same with dealers they buy the name and sell the cars to which there are guide lines.
OK next issue Water dripping on the floor is not to bad of one that is condensation from the difference in air temp inside the air box and outside. Fog comming out is 2 things the evap is freezing up to which u would feel little or no air comming out and white flakes like snow comming out of the vets is this correct? when u let the car sit for awhile it works again. The fog on the wind shield correct?? that would be a leaking heater core and its steam comming from inside the air box as well. OH one other thing do u have the rec door closes the little button next to the ac one when u are running the ac?? this will take the air inside and make it cooler, its easier to cool air that is colder than taking out from the outside and making it as cold. AS dor the Compressor issue yeah the dealer should have replaced it for u at no charge because the mopar parts and labor installed by a dealer are 12 months 12k miles. Do u have records of when u took it in the first time and had a dealer replace the compressor and when u took it to the dealer at home?

[&o]Well, thanks for the heads up there.
OK next issue.[/i][/b]
Water dripping on the floor is not too bad of one.[/i][/b]
That is condensation from the difference in air temp inside the air box and outside. [/i][/b]
[&o]OK, so what should I do?
Fog coming out is 2 things.[/i][/b]
The evap is freezing up to which u would feel
little or no air coming out and white flakes like snow coming out of the
vents. Is this correct?[/i][/b]
[&o]Yes, we get some pretty thick fog coming from those front dash vents.

When u let the car sit for awhile it works again. [/i][/b]
There is fog on the wind shield correct??[/i][/b]
[&o]Yes, I forgot to mention the fogged up windshield and the Snow flakes coming from the front dash air vents.

That would be a leaking heater core and it is steam coming from inside the air box as well. [/i][/b]
[&o]I think I’m lost here. Maybe you can come back and clear this up for me.
I have edited your post to make it easier for me to answer your questions, but now I think I’m lost.

OH one other thing do u have the rec door closes the little button next to the ac one when u are running the
ac?? this will take the air inside and make it cooler.[/i][/b]
Its easier to cool air that is colder than taking out from the outside and making it as cold.[/i][/b]
[&o]If you mean the Recirculation button pushed, yes we have that one on. I understand re-circulation. We used it to heat the Car on the winter mornings in Alaska.
However, we had to go to outside air to keep the frost off the inside of the windows.
[/i][/b]
[/i][/b]
As to the Compressor issue, yeah the dealer should have replaced it for u at no
charge because the mopar parts and labor installed by a dealer are 12 months
12k miles. Do u have records of when u took it in the first time and had a
dealer replace the compressor and when u took it to the dealer at home?[/i][/b]

[&o]Unfortunately we have the records of sale, but the promise of the new Compressor was a verbal one. The two dealers conversed over that one. We were left helpless.[&:]
Angry and helpless.
No place to go for help and nobody cared at all unless we were willing to pay for their services. So much for a Dealers guarantee.[:@]
Thanks for trying to help. I know more now, but I still dont quite know what to do.

U have no records at all of what ws replaced?? the 500 part u say was replaced under the dash is what is freezing up but that is not the cause of what is making it freeze up. It will freeze up when the temp in the evap is below 32 and like water does it freezes up. There are a few sensors and thingsthat stop the compressor from making hte evap freeze up like that. Evap prob is one low and high side pressure sensors are the others. The fog maybe just part of the evap freezing up but most of the time when i see a fog on the windsheld its from the heater core he part which heats the inside up just like the evapator is the part the cools down the inside. FIrstthing i would do b4 nething would be to replace the evap temp sensor U should be able to get to it drop the glove box down and u will see a plate with 2 wires comming out of it looks like the pic i have attached. GO from there soon or later u will need to get a new compressor installed or all of the oil will leak out and lock it up for good.
