99 town and country alarm problem

99 town and country alarm problem
Hello, we just bought our 99 town and country. When we lock the doors with the key fob the alarm will go off within a few minutes. Is there a way to reset the alarm system or to fix this since I can't lock my doors with out the alarm going off. Thanks
