Default ABS problems

hi there, I have a strange problem with my brakes I have replaced all front and back Calipers, discs and pads as part of my maintenance schedule -they were very rusty and one of the rears was sticking.
I now have a situation where when I am driving it feels like the ABS is on as there is a grinding noise from the front and the pedal feels strange. Then my amber ABS light comes ON and the brakes are perfect. Thankfully the light is on most of the time and the brakes are spot on, however it has just failed it's MOT because the light was on. Any ideas on this gratefully received, I have 10 working days before the free MOT retest, thanks

My ABS light is on all the time too, but no scrapping etc, just drives normal.
Probably be spring before I get round to it but ABS rings on drive shafts will be first check to see their clean and not split. Check cables from probes are not damaged and then resistance in each probe...Think the Probe test has been done on here, somewhere within the last couple of months.

The spider gears stripped in my rear and caused the abs to stop working...could be the same thing?
