Default ac problem
Hi all. I have 2003 town and country that is not blowing cold air. I went to have freon put in but was told it didn't need any. I am able to see that the compressor engages when I turn the ac on but it also makes a loud ticking or clanking noise. Also I have noticed that the cooling fan doesn't run when the ac is on.

Sounds like the clutch in the AC compressor has failed.
