Default Active Head Restraint Removal

Have a 2010 Town and Country w/ Active Head Restraint headrests in the front row. Would like to replace them with DVD player headrests. Can these Active Head Restraint headrest be removed and replaced with other headrest that do not have this function?

No...

Simply put, Your restraint system is an Integral unit...all the components must function properly , or The system is completely disabled.

In all areas that I am aware of, it is illegal to disable safety Items or restraint systems.

Just a question....Why would you want to chop up a Brand new Vehicle like that??? Giving up your Airbags so the kiddies can watch movies without tilting their heads back to see the overhead screen ,hardly seems like a fair trade.
