We recently purchased a used 2005 t & c. It is a plain jane van with an overhead lamp but I thought that I could purchase an overhead console and just plug it in. I thought all if the harnesses were the same. I searched the internet and found one off of an 05 that has the homelink, the mileage and the trip, and so I bought it and then tried to plugging it in. The harness is the same, and the lamps come on, but the display and rest will not. After looking more closely there is one wire missing in the harness to supply power to that pin for EVIC. I have looked at several wiring diagrams for the 05 but I can't find the color of the wire or where the wire goes down to the body control module or pcm to supply power to the display. My thought is that since it is a EVIC module it runs on low voltage so I shouldn't run 12volts to it. Any one have a T&C that knows what the wiring harness colors are for the overhead console / EVIC, or knows where the source connector goes from the overhead console / EVIC? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
