Finally got around to doing mine today. I had to remove the overhead console to fit some LED lights so soldered the cable to the circuit board while I was doing that. Not yet routed the wiring to the tailgate but I've done the hard bit, tested it by shorting the wires together and it works. Thanks Hooopy.
