Hi blue,
just something brief from Germany. First does it have a 2 zone aircon? (is there a blower switch on the left hand side of the rodio)

okay to find mailfuncts. in aircons there are many possible reasons. A good outhline to find it is Haynes Repair Manual for Chrysler Town & Country. I believe it is 30011. Specially written for 1996 - 2002. Chapter 3.1.

Following the listings in that chapter You should be able to find the mailfunct. Best thing about it is, that it shows the different parts of the system. You will find, that there are quite a few, that have to be taken into consideration, not only the electrical installation. (I doubt if this is it)

Regards Roland

Default how about the old multimeter

Hi Blue,
well Multimeter is how we call it over here. If it is burnt, is the connector still working? (line through, resistance) Would a new connector, or even pannel help. I have seen various in ebay, why not try it, they aren't that expensive.

Regards Roland

If the connector seem to be burnt, there must be a reason for it and You need to find that out, before You go on. Did You check on the cabeling? Maybe parts of the cabeling is brocken, or the isolation was rubbed of at some place. Them things are hard to find.

Did someone check the preasure of the system.
