Default Aux heater

Hi guys.
My 55 plate 2.8td GV
dumped all the coolant out a few miles from home. I had the aux hearer bypassed. Now I need to know which fuse or relay to remove to stop it trying to work and stop the dash light from coming on.
Thanks
Adrian

Yip happened to me in centre of Edinburgh. I just removed the heater, bypassed it and sealed the plug and fuel pipe, nothing else as I didn't know ins and outs of it back then. System seems to have accepted it lost a piece of its life...

Hi guys.
Ive found this in the RG service manual. It was a cold morning today and the heater tried to come on. PULLING THE PLUG UNDER THE BONNET/HOOD DOES NOT WORK.

The logic is on the Webasto itself. There's an electrical connector close to the heater unit under the car - pull that connection and the unit shuts down and goes dumb, no electrics or fuel. Whether or not it closes a coolant valve I've no idea.

We use the same manipulation in reverse to 'shock' the unit into life when it goes dead because of a software error either on the onboard EEPROM or the cars puters.

The vehicle will of course not switch on regardless if :
- less than 1/4 full of fuel
- not cold enough
- mechanically broken

OK guys I've had the connector above disconnected for a couple of days and the heater has not kicked in at all. but it still lights up on the dash.
Thank you for the help.
