Beeeeeping sound
Hey all!
I have a Chrysler Voyager LX 2002
Ive got a problem wich consists of a beeeeeeping sound/noice that i believe is coming from the middle of the car, under it.
Can this be the fuelpump wich is about to give up?
The sound varies but usually appears after ive been driving bout an hour or so, and the beeeping sound is continuous.
Anyone recognize this or had similar problems, it is a very annoying beep indeed.
Sometimes the sound can appear with only the ignition on, and stops as soon as i turn it off.
And as i switch it on and off it goes just bip, and when i turn the car on it's like beeeeeeeeeeeeep.
Appreciate any answers

Petrol or diesel?
I'm not an expert on these, things but the only things I can think of under the car would be the fuel pump and, if a diesel, the auxiliary heater. The heater does whine a bit slightly, only comes on if the heater is turned to more than 3/4 hot, and if the interior isn't warm, also doesn't go off immediately with the ignition. DOes sound more like a fuel pump - worth getting under the car on a ramp with the engine running to track it down.
