Default Blower motor continually runs on high

We have replaced the blower module/resistor twice and recalibrated each time but it will work properly for about an hour then it starts blowing on high even when system is shut off. Any help, please.

In simple terms I take it the motor is taking more current than it normally does. Dry bearings in motor or fan or resistance between.
