Exclamation Bluethoot ELM 327 issue on T & C 2007.

Hi Guys,
Here is my story, recently I got Bluethoot ELM 327 Mini, to connect with my smartphone I see codes, with my Jetta 2016, I don't have any problem, can connect I see all information from my car, but with my Town & Country, is not the same history, this interphase never connect with ECM on my program, I do all procedure but can't get communication, any idea? that happens to somebody before? Thanks in advance for your comments!

Hi Carlos,

That's a generic OBD-2 module, which should connect and get you BASIC information on your Chrysler, as it complies with standard ODB-2 functions (Throttle position, O2 sensors, voltage, etc) but it won't show you the advanced stuff, tell you fault codes, etc.

This is because Chrysler uses an extension of ODB-2 which is specific to Chrysler and you need some expensive reader equipment to do this. There are a few members on this forum that have the said tools, and they paid a lot of money for them!

So unfortunately the answer is, it won't give you full diagnostics only really basic info on your T&C.
