I have a 05' Town & Country Touring and the A/C blows warm air can anyone help?

is the compressor spinning when u have it turned on?

 

I don't know i will have to check and get back to you...

 

I just checked but no click or drop or increase in rpm.

I don't think it is kicking in i stood right by the motor and didn't see anything or hear anything.

What do you think?

 

Is there a fuse somewhere for the A/C?

 

was reading somewhere in this forum that if A/C gas pressure is too low in a/c system then ecu wont activate it. My A/C dont work either. But i went to Halfords Autocentre and they said that my gas pressure is way bellow minimum. Good news was that they didnt find any leaks in system. But if i give straight 12v to ac clutch it still operates. So my hope is that regassing systeb will bring it back to live.

 

look at the front of the ac compressor the clutch is is moving or staying still that's what needs to be known before going any further.

 

The clutch is not engaging.

There is no change in rpm when a/c is engaged and no clutch engagement.

take off the low side cap use a screw driver press down on the little valve see if u ahve freon come out. FYI dont look at teh port when you do this dont get it in you eye. Im looking for pressure not just a little spirt coming out.

 

I cant do that as i am handicapped and can't walk so i will have to take it into a garage.

I was just hoping to find out something here any ideas?
