Default chrysler grand voyager 2.8 diesel 2005

hi i a new to this forum looking for some help with a chrysler grand voyager 2.8 diesel . the car starts perfect from cold after driving for a while and i stop the car when i get back in it wont start uless i prees the excelarator then it will start could this be a problem with the egr valve or soething else any help welcoe

I can say the EGR system has no effect as you mention. I remember a posting about the very effect you say, it'll be a year or two back, so you'll have to do some trawling. Could be diesel draining back away from the injectors or some such.

Yes remember someone saying something about pumping accelerator to get start but was answered by someone saying there's no butterfly's or choke connected to pedal.
Old style Petrol and Diesels here.
