Default DVD Player and workshop manual

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the factory DVD unit on a 2007 Grand Voyager has another line out so I can put in a second monitor?

Also - is there a on-line source of the workshop manual?

Thanks
Regards
Paul

No. there is no other line out, you have to tap off the video signal at the current monitor or at the player itself. The mauals can be had on CD on Ebay. They have the wiring diagrams and will show you what pins on the montor side or player side hgouse the signal. Mattr of fact.. the Chrysler reapir connector website will tell you what pins are involved. Attached is a link and you pnch in your year and model and then search for "DVD" or "Monitor" (maybe even screen) and it will show you the connector that hooks up to the device. it will also show yoiu the pin numbers and what signals they are.

According to the link for your year.. the P/N for the screen connecotr is 05102402AA
The pins involved are 5,6,7,9 (9 being video play signal of which you might not need on the 2nd screen) You can confirm the wire colors if you take your DVD changer out and look at the singal names that are listed on top of it.

DVD SCREEN - BLACK (BODY) 12 WAY
CAV CIRCUIT FUNCTION
1 X114 20GY/LB IGNITION RUN/ACC SIGNAL
2 X211 20YL/GY IGNITION SWITCH SENSE
3 X963 22WT HEADPHONE SWITCH SENSE
4 X961 22GY/OR HEADPHONE LEFT SIGNAL
5 X915 22GY/LB VIDEO RETURN
6 X515 22GY/OR VIDEO SIGNAL
7 X530 20GY/DB GROUND
8
9 X555 20VT/OR VIDEO PLAY SIGNAL
10 X960 22GY/WT HEADPHONE RIGHT SIGNAL
11 X962 22DG/WT HEADPHONE RETURN
12

Where do you want the secoind screen? For the very back? I thought about doing this but it seems the kids can see the one jsut fine. now if you wnat one upfront, that is a different story!
