Anyone know if they make the harness that goes from the DVD changer to the screen (the rail system screen) in a 2005 T&C Limited. It has the 6 disc IR changer but no screen. A P/N would great if possible. I have been told it is 3 harnesses by one dealer and some sites list one harness from changer to screen but I can't get a straight answer.

Yes when the RG first came out we had to fit these kits (screen, DVD player and wire harness). I have a kit still under my bench I have for testing. I think the kit I have is only a single DVD that sits under the RB3 radio and a screen on the rail but the wire harness is there. I see if there is a part number on the harness from the player to the screen.

 

That would be great.. if you could tell me how long it is too, that would be perfect.

The harness from the DVD to the screen is in two bits; numbers of the harnesses are 04868754aa and 04868763aa length of 226cm. There is also a harness in the kit from the DVD to the RB3 unit and a power lead to the two ancillary power out lets. Hope this helps you .

 

Thanks Merlin... now all I have to do is figure out if the one you have is for IR systems or RF systems. I need to look at the wiring diagrams for my year (2005) and see what pins are filled... that is unless I can tell from the part#'s if they are for my year/system

They show up for one w/ a sunroof which I do not have and they sure are pricey....
