Default Engine not starting

Hi, everyone
My 2002 Grand Voyager does not turn over. When the key is turned, there is a fast loud clicking under the bonnet, and the alarm LED on the steering column is on all the time. A few days ago i had a problem with the radiator fans coming on for a few seconds then going off.even with ignition off. Is this related in any way.I've looked in forums for similar fault, but didnt find an answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Default RE: Engine not starting

how old is the battery? sounds to me like it is failing. might be a light stuck on or something draining the battery but if it is an older battery, my bet is it is toes up...

Thanks for your prompt post, JeepAndAVan. It is the original battery, and the fault with the radiator fans coming on when key not in ignition must have drained it slightly. Will now need to try and replace the radiator fan relay. Thanks again.
