Can anyone offer advice on how to see the computer's error codes? My check engine light is on. I know what caused the issue, but I'd like to see the codes in the computer andand I'd like to reset it to turn the check engine light off. I'd appreciate any help or advice.

 

If this is a 2001 model, you may have to use an OBD 11 code reader or scanner. Some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free

On some Chrysler OBD11 models, you can get some codes by cycling the ignition switch, not sure that will work on your vehicle.

 

well, it's not OBD 11 but OBD II (two).

check engine light can be turned off, but on some cars fault stays memorised in the computer.
