The red led on the dashboard on my UK Voyager flashes rapidly all the time once the alarm is armed, the book says it only flashes rapidly for about 15 seconds and then slows down, but mines flashes rapidly all the time although I am sure it never used to.

 

Solved !, removed the Underhood switch and the alarm works perfectly, have ordered a new underhood switch for £13.50.

 

Happy day did that show up in the overhead display like I said in the PM?

Sorry never got your message, but nothing in the overhead display. Just read on the forum about them going faulty and decided to unplug it and it worked. It did look quite dirty so have just ordered a new one. Not sure how they work as they seem to have a metal bar in them.

The red light in the instrument panel was suppose to flash for 15 seconds rapidly and then slow down, but my own flashed rapidly all the time. I traced it to the hood switch that was faulty as once it was unplugged it worked fine. Try unplugging the hood switch and see if it helps yours.

 

What age Voyager, I got a 1999, red LED on the dash, but it don't flash at all, no alarm.
