Default Flashing Tire Pressure Monitor Light

The yellow tire symbol flashes steady about every second. And yes the tire pressures are perfect. After a tenth of a mile it goes out and everything is fine, until I shut off the ignition.

I will probably take it to the dealer, but I would like to get an idea of what is wrong before I go in. Any ideas?

Could be the batteries in the TPMS sensors are weak if than van is 5 or more years old. Anything in your owners manual about them?

Thanks for the advice! I have a 2006 Town and Country (7 years old) with 110,000 miles. It has always been driven in a warm climate. I am going to change them out when I replace the tires.
