Default Garage Door Opener

Still playing with the buttons on my "new" '08 Town and Country.
The directions for programing the garage door opener are clear enough, but involve using the remote "clicker", which in my case is no longer available.
I do have a jamb mounted unit with numerical key pad. Can I somehow use this to program the cars buttons, or is there another way to do it?
Thanks,
Rob

Most garage door opener are controlled by switches on the garage wall, as well as by remote controls carried in the garage owner's cars, or more rarely, on keychains.

I think you should choose the right opener and small things like lighter and keychains.
