Default gasket help...

hi guys,
looking under the car on transmission I see 2 cover's, one its big kind like squareand under transmission (pan I think), an I see other pan on side of the transmission, I need gasket for the side cover one, its liking oil. I can't find on Autozone online. This cover its on transmission facing the driver's whell, its kinda like oval shape round I don't know.
Whats the name of the side pan or cover gasket? part#
2001 T&C AWD

thanks pros

There is no gasket for that side pan. you need to use RTV.

RTV= http://store.vapnapa.com/bk7651215.html

Just add the same amount as that that comes out when you take off that plate. then top off after starting the van and checking the level on the dipstick. I would buy at least 3-4 quarts just to be sure. You will need to tilt the vehicle on up on the passenger side so that the fluid drains out and then on the drivers side when you actually put the plate back on. you will understand why when you remove the plate since , when the vehicle is level, it never stops dripping ( it didn't stop for over 4 hours for me until I did the tilt thing. This is a real easy replacement just take your time, make sure the gasket surfaces are clean and enjoy ;-)

I'll change the filter and on description how to put the gasket say's not to use any adhesives, should I use anyways?
It's kind like rubber gasket.
Thanks

I did just like you told me, like you said too it never stops liking fluid so I tip the van from passanger side. I just took it off and replace the RTV. But I notice one thing, the cover itself I think I have to change because it’s so rust that I think it starts to go through. Do you know the name of this cover?
So I did not change the filter because I’ll use a lot new fluid now and later to change this to new cover (or pan). ATF 4 not chip here.

Thank you
