grand voyager 1993 not water temperature

Default grand voyager 1993 not water temperature

my voyager not indicate the temperature of water. if the fan of cooler working, i don't now. this car have 2.5 turbodiesel engine. any idea? thanks

Check the wire going to the temp sensor. It is on the right hand side of the engine on the last head. (If yours is the 1996-2000 2.5TD it has 4 small cylinder heads)

The 1993 used a variation of the same engine. It has been around a very long time and in fact was originally made for marine use.

I already checked the temperature sensor and is 200-600 ohms, so it's okay. I guess the problem is in dashbord. and maybe a possible interrupted cable.

dashboard was ok. i found a wire interrupted near battery support.
@glowplug: you had right, was a wire. thx for help
