Hi
I have the opposite problem-----when I power them in, they really don't want to go back out---(one of them anyway)

This often happens not as expected with software or stepper motors, but simply that they were taken off [open] and replaced [closed] in a different attitude.

You may have to get inside the mirror and wind back the mechanism manually or electrically and set it according to what the car thinks the position its in.

Temporary fix I did...flick switch to fold in, then back out... hold mirror at desired central position and it should click into locked position. Still can't figure out why?!

Default Auxiliary Heater

And here's what it looks like, plenty on Flee-Bay but do they work. Other pic is the firing end opposite heat exchanger.
