Default Grand Voyager ventilation problem

I have a 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager SE. The problem we're having is a stuck re-circulate mode on the HVAC system. The system is stuck in re-circulate. I have removed the bezel, and fan speed/air flow directional control module and cleaned the push buttons, and looked at the printed circuit board, but nothing looks out of whack. With the system back together, the re-circulate button provides re-circulate mode if pushed in and lite or not. Does anyone know where and how to get into the re-ciculate door to check on its operation? The current operation is not an issue when you need A/C, but it is if you want fresh air without A/C. Thanks, Bill.
