Default Head restraint clips (sleeves)

This one I found unbelievable.

I am missing a few of the head restrain sleeves or clips - these are the plastic tubes with a clip at the top that lock the head restraints at the correct height. Bearing in mind that there are 14 of these in total in the vehicle, I have just been quoted £99.99 per clip - that means £1400 (over $2,000) for just a full set of the clips for all seats[sm=wtf.gif].

Does anyone know if any other manufacturers make compatible clips that would fit at sensible prices?

If the guide tubes are still there but the headrests won't stay up, perhaps what we in the USA call Hitch Pins would work to keep the headrests in place.

You could probably get some at a Halfords or a hardware store.

BTW our 2002 Caravan only has locking clips on only one of the two headrest posts.
The factory parts are about $25 per head restraint in the USA (one locking, one non-locking guide tube for a 2001 - 2003). Different prices for different colors...go figure.

Excellent advice - they are called R clips over here, and they'll do the job nicely. $25 dollars is a big improvement over the $150 over here, but still not cheap - I wonder if the price I was quoted was for a pair (as you say, only one is a locking clip). May look at Nissan parts to see if they will do (look similar to the clips I had on my old Nissan Micra), but if not, I'll go for the R clips.
