HELP!! 2007 base t&c no interior lights, power at climate control

Ok so i just bought this as is and have some un expected un mentioned problems ... no interior lights ,no dash lights , no power locks (so i cant open rear hatch) , the blower works fine but there is no power or lights on to blend door and position adjust . I could deal with these problems but the kids and ol lady are not very happy with the no heat. Was 20 degrees last night. Also worth mentioning it appears this was a taxi because it says so . When either slider is opened the hazards flash

Is the Check Engine Light illuminated? and have you at least checked for a blown fuse?

Quickhick 12-09-2017 10:57 AM

Yes

Yes i replaced the iod fuse and disconnected the battery and left it for a few hours with the terminals zip tied together no change . There is no power to the rear whiper or ac button neither light works radio is fine though

Yes

Engine light is on but for a 02 sensor . Guy says everything but the locks was working last time he drove it . Sat for a month in that time the battery was changed . Perhaps he shorted something ?

Does this have auto temp control HVAC system or manual slider/ knob controls? If ATC, it could have a bad control module mounted behind the glove box door. But I would be more concerned that power for dash/interior lights are working first. Recheck fuses, I had a van that had trailer wiring get shut in the rear hatch latch and shorted a fuse to power dash and lights.

It has knobs so atc? The heat is my biggest concern weather is heading in a few hours 3 inches of snow gotta have a defroster at least.

My 2007 is a fourth generation model, yours may be different. On the fourth generation models there is a vertical rotary switch on the dash but near to the drivers door. This switches the interior lights ON/OFF/AUTOMATIC.

You have manual HVAC(better deal, less costly). There is a reset procedure for the blend door and vent controls,Mine has the ATC, so I know there is one for your type also as I found it by Googling it for mine. Just can't remember where it is on the www, or the steps for your system. But if you find it ,it may be your "ticket" to a fix for you. Good Luck :)
