Default Help

We bought a 2008 Town and Country in June. We have had problem after problem with this car. I turn here to see if I can get some direction. The current issue....change oil light. A month after we bought the car the change oil liught came on at 2600 miles. We took it to a chrysler dealer (we were on vacation) he told us that it possibly went off early due to being on the car lot and being turned on and off. We didnt think much of it. 2600 miles later, the change oil light went off again. I took it in to my dealer. They changed the oil and told me there was nothing wrong with the car, it was my driving that set the light off early. Not happy with that answer, I took it to the manager. He agreed that sounded a bit off and would look into it. He spoke with his "HEAD" mechanic, he told him that it was based on my driving as well. So he then had the mechanic call a "training center" (not sure what that means) they told him that on the 2008 Town and Country, the computer is set to go off at 2500 miles plus as a warning, to let you know that you are coming up on 300 miles and need to get it changed. I think that is crap!! But was told if I didnt want to change the oil at that point I could reset it and it would not go off again for another 2600 miles. Now....the car manual recommends oil change at 3750 miles. Why would mine be going off 1000 miles early? Maybe the sensor? I asked the manager to get me something in writing that this 2500 mile plus warning light is how it works. SO far, he cant find anything in writing. I think they are lying to me and saving their *** because I am so very close to calling this car a lemon and getting the Better Business Bureau and an Attorney involved. Any ideas? And if you have a way to find out in writing what the standard is. Thank you!
