Default Help, Engine terrible knocking.......

Vehicle Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.5 TD 2000
Try to start engine after some 3 hour of standing. Engine start normally.
But I hear the not normal sound. Hard knocking like some body work with jackhammer left side of the engine. Shut down, started again for a long time would not start. Then engine start and again hard knocks. If you the hood the sound heard from the left side of the motor. Smoke from exhaust, but smoke is not blue as it happens when firing oil.

What to do:
1. not long ago was changed vacuum pump, made timing procedure (as speak in repair shop).
But after this starting engine was difficult. After some time the rotation of starter the engine start.
After when I bleed the air out of injection pump, engine start normally. After the repair took a month.

In the morning I went to half day was all okay. After I try to find why missing horn. Judged the steering column checked relay, wiring, the signal. After that I start the engine after that and it start terribly knocking.

Can anyone have any thoughts on the matter.

Maybe I was accidentally short circuit the wire's. And some error become to the engine component.

Thanks in advance.
