Rebel59, since 2001, the Voyagers here are equipped with headlight assemblies similar to the one dewar linked. In fact, that one seems to be a 2004 or newer. They have H7 bulbs as opposed to the earlier versions (1996-2000) that had the two-in-one style H4 bulbs. The H7 assemblies manage to throw a lot more light on the road compared to the previous ("meaner" looking) H4 housings, probably due to the larger reflector.

dewar, I don't have a link for the HIDs I bought years ago, but you can use any model. The most important thing to remember is to have a slim-line ballast with a thinkness of approx. 15 mm or less.

Since you were interested, I crammed a ballast into the housing and took some pics, just for show, not the real assembly. The first one is with the ballast and everything in the housing. The other one shows that there's plenty of room in there. #3 and 4 show the ballast and the RFI attenuator (black). Please note that this one is actually for a H4 bi-xenon with a bigger than usual RFI att and not the one I actually use.

For the cost of 2-3x premium bulbs, you get 4-5 times the light! Just remember that initially, the light ouput is weak in any HID, but in 4-5 secs you have full output.

The one I use is a 50 W HID, not the standard 35 W, but that one will obviously also produce quite some light.
