Hi all have just had the power steering pump replaced on my 3.3 voyager the mechanic just phoned to say that the handbook recommends MOPAR fluid only - he spoke to chrysler and they state that anything other than Mopar will damage the pump ? is this true - if so where can I get MOPAR fluid with out getting robbed - tried my local motor suppliers with no joy?

Or will a decent PS fluid be just fine?

can anyone advise me of if the correct Mopar fluid is a huge concern or not for the PS pump as my mechanic needs to get it sorted in the morning . Many thanks in advance
