Hi Alanc,

I probably messed up the order on my blog and didn't finish the post off! I decided to do the same and ran a new wiring loom from the old amp location to the head unit as you did!

Thanks to your help Andy, today I connected the front top speakers and reconnected them so both right rears are in series, both left rears in series and the same with the front 4. Pioneer radio sounds great plus I can now stream music via Bluetooth from my phone, have hands free and aux input for the audio from my overhead DVD player and it's only drawing 0.04 amps with ignition off and car locked.
I'm a happy chappy.
