Default Intermittent air bag light issue, 2005 T&C

Hi everyone, first time poster, long time lurker. I'm hoping to get some advice from you all about an ongoing issue. Two years ago, a mechanic friend replaced the front rack and pinion and in the process damaged the clock spring (I'm assuming). I had the clock spring replaced and all was fine. Recently, the air bag light started going off and on again. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. The horn DOES operate. In fact sometimes, the air bag light goes off when I hit the horn (but not always, it's totally random).

Any ideas where I should be looking? Could the replaced clock spring be going out again, or it might be something else? I already had the recalled air bag switch replaced about 4 years ago. Thanks for any suggestions!

get a scanner that's able to read air bag module and it will tell you what teh codes are better then guessing.

Something you can do for nothing and quickly without getting dirty.
Statistically the most common airbag-light-on cause is around the pre-tensioners. These may have fired under v. heavy braking. With a ruler, check the length of the coupling to the floor of each belt fastner. If one is short compared to the others, that's it. A 5-min diagnosis if you're in luck. Otherwise that's at least out of the way if ok.
