Ive lost all instruments and lights in the dashboard
hello newbie here
About a week ago i woke up and went out to go to my car. The rear right tyre had lost a lot of air. I thought this would be enough to go to the local fuel station to pump it back up. On the way there i heard a strange noise coming from that tyre so i stopped the car and took a look. The alloy had completely come off the tyre. I drove the car back home but all instruments had stopped working. the needles, the LCDs and the hazard lights had all stopped working. i dont know if this is all just a big coincidence or not. I got home and disconnected the battery to see if that was the problem but the problem persisted. |
By the way the car is a 1991 2.5 litre diesel limited edition

Something comes up that you need a new instrument panel. Whether its the soldiered joins or the power relay in it.
Like Audi TT's and Renault Mk3 Espaces of the past. |
Check for fuse to cluster first.
|
Try hitting top of dash with the palm of your hand. If it comes back on its a solder issue.

thanks i will try all suggestions
