Default MIL on above 75mph

My 2001 2.5 crd Voyager has developed a new issue when under load. Did a 300 mile journey yesterday and whilst on the motorway I overtook another vehicle, as my speedo crept to 75mph there was a slight hesitation and the MIL came on. I slowed and it went out so I accelerated again only for it to illuminate again at 75mph along with the slight hesitation. I have checked today and there is a P0235 error. I went out this morning and noticed if I push hard from a start, the MIL is coming on usually when accelerating hard in fourth gear and then going out when i ease off. Any help or ideas appreciated
