Hi we have a 2012 t&c with the engine light on. Scanned it twice and come up with 0456 and 0302 error codes. I know the 0456 is evap and the 0302 is misfire in cylinder 2. From searching around people say the 0302 isn't tune-up related, but could be a cylinder head issue. Probably going to take it to a dealer to have it checked out. Any ideas, thanks for any help.

 

Can't count out plugs, plug wires, coil or injector issues but yes, there is an issue with cylinder heads on the 3.6 ltr engine: We Hear: Chrysler Pentastar V-6 Could Experience Malfunctioning Cylinder Heads

In this case you can count out the plug wires, the Pentastar uses a coil on plug design.

Thanks for your replys, checked with the dealer yesterday and found out it's still under warrenty( we bought it used). So it's going in next week, hope it's something like the coil and not the head.

 

I'd put it 60/40 the coil or sparkplug at fault. Fingers crossed.

Hope you're right Leedsman. After reading the article from Raptors post I'm not sure what to think. Sounds alot like what we are experiencing with our T&C.
