Rear blower works fine, but the front blower won't blow. Did the typical relay/fuse checks, all seems OK, but she won't blow. Had a shorted power cord in one of the cig lighter sockets about a week before, pulled the plug from the bad socket. I don't think these are related, but may be relevant.

Any of you have any ideas or similar problem? I'd sure like to avoid the cost of a trip to the service dept if possible. Did not see any TSB's on the subject.

$79 for a new 'resistor' - actually a fan control module, and I'm back in action. Truly a 5 minute minute repair job.

Glad it worked for you itchybird. I had the exact same problem on my van and purchased a new fan control module. Didn't fix my problem. Do you have the automated temp control?
