99 LHS Fan won't blow
I Have a 99 LHS and the fan won't blow... I can feel there is heat, How do I trouble shoot it and fix it?? It is equipped with the climate control, will that make a difference?
The automatic temperature control system has a blower control module to control the blower. It could be that or it could be a bad blower motor. You could apply 12 volts to the motor to see if it will turn. If so, then the module is likely the problem.
Have you checked your fuses? There are usually at least 2 places to look. One is under the dash somewhere, the other is under the hood.
If you have a manual, read it to find where your fuse boxes are located.
The one inside is usually called the fuse panel
The one underhood is usually called the PDC, or Power Distribution Center.
The manual will tell you what you have and where it is located. Then look on the covers of the panels to see which fuse does what. Look for the heater circuit. Be sure to replace any burned out fuses with identical ones. Most Kragen stores will actually help you, maybe.
