Default Need Spare Tire

Hello, I recently bought a 2015 Town & Country that came without a spare tire. Me being an old timer I want to have a spare. What tire and wheel would be good for this car? By the way my wife and I just love this car! Thank You Jay

Are you sure you don't have a spare? As far as a I know, all models that have Stow 'n' Go seating, including the 2015 year, have a space saver spare located under the floor between the two front seats. It is lowered to the ground with a winding handle. See this guide:

Like AlanC said, make sure there isn't one located under the van.

If you don't have a spare you will need a compact spare, Mopar offers a spare tie kit (MSRP $308), part number 82214036, it includes a "compact spare tire assembly (wheel, tire and valve stem), upper and lower covers and winch tools."

See:https://mopar.chromedata.com/NextGen...3075/131157360

You can usually find the kit available on line (ebay, Amazon, etc.) cheaper than the MSRP

Here in the U.S. the spare tire became an option on some vans starting in the 2014 model year. Standard equipment is a can of "Fix-A-Flat" and an air compressor.

Thanks for the update George. It seems that a lot of manufacturers are leaving out the spare wheel as a cost cutting exercise. That can be the only reason because a lot of new vehicles that are supplied without a spare, still have the 'well' in the boot/trunk floor.
