hi ,you need to ask the dealer in question what fault codes they have extracted from the autobox, without the codes its very hard.
I had a problem with my auto box on a 2007 voyager stuck in limp mode, after a lot of head scratch tuned out to be the relay that controls the solenoid pack that was full of water.
the relay sits on the front slam panel ,next to the 2 for the cooling fans. all are the same so can be interchanged to prove ,the new relay has been modified (surprise),with a water proof plug at its base. So in view of the amount of rain we have had recently ,might be worth checking first
regards Richard
ps , oakdeane auto transmissions in Nottingham are highly reccomened

Default It's back!!!

Finally got the car back. Ended up doing a deal with Chrysler. New recon gearbox works great. Gave it the McDonalds drive thru test with the family. Nice cup holders. Drove up long hill and car temp gauge went right up into the red with warning light on. Pulled over and checked under bonnet. No leaks found. Level was however down in header tank so topped it up with about 1.5 litres of water and all ok. Drove up same hill again and fine.
