- probably another load of Look what are you dealing with ? is it flat battery or knackered starter motor or SKIM / SKREEM ? Do one thing at a time starting with the SKIM / SKREEM If you put a fully charged known to be good battery on and the red light is solid on, then open the door the alarm will go mad, while the alarm is going mad insert the correct grey key, then turn it to two clicks clockwise [the ON / RUN position] the alarm will turn of because it agrees you are the owner and not a thief, then switch the key two clicks anti-clockwise [the OFF position] and withdraw the key. What happens now ? |

when I press the lock button on the fob all doors lock but I get no horn sounding or lights flashing and when inside if I lock drivers door with door button it only locks the door and not the rest, pissed off now I just want the fecker to run

wahey its running, after more reading into it the key should of still turned the engine over and cos it powered the relay it was ok so I cancelled the locksmith and thought il put the money towards a proper diagnosis and got it recovered to main dealers, proper machine plugged in and found communication errors between basically everything and when putting a live to the power control module the car ran so a strip down of the loom and a repair to the wireing and fixed for the sum of £270 which im more than happy with as I was expecting a bigger bill.the alarm now works too :)
just need to find the clonk at the front suspension/steering now |
Good so long as you are sorted.
Almost always COMMS issues in this case a SKREEM or memory verification test. This statement drips easily from the tongue .. .. finding the break in a cable however .. .. can be a 'right pig' of a job. |
