Default P0461 Fuel Level Sensor Performance

I have a 2006 Chrysler T&C and the PCM was just replaced last year. Today we were driving it and the light came on but no noticeable issue. Checked it out and it gave this code. I see the bulletin came out back in 07 for this. Now, just drove it half a mile and it started stuttering so I turned around to get back home and now it wont run. Should I assume its the fuel pump? any help will be great!

Left that part out, since the warning was about the fuel level sensor I put 2 gallons of gas in it and still nothing, thats why I am guessing its the fuel pump.

Do you hear the pump turn on for a second when you turn the key to on/run? Have you checked the pressure output? Have you verified the pump is getting power?

Thanks, I will check that this morning. I went out before checking this and now I'm getting the P0300 code along with the P0461 does this mean anything from your experiences?

Thanks! yesterday when I was working on it i tried starting it about 4 times back to back, it would barely start and then just cut off like it was not getting gas. Would this have primed the pump or should I just not start it and let the pump cycle 3X by turning the key?

Thanks for all your help, well after about 7 times turning the switch on I guess it primed the pump and now it started. Its running fine so I put more gas in it. I cleared the code and its not back on yet. Now the question, what caused it. It showed I had a little less than 1/4 tank and no gas light on so could the codes have registered before the gas light? Just trying to find the cause.
