Angry Power door madness

Hi my drivers side passenger door seems to be having trouble it will pop out from the car on pressing the button but will not open and close it is a intermittent problem but 9 times out of 10 it wont work any ideas guys and gals?

Ive no doubt its many thousands rather than many hiundreds

- I did mine, it took all of 10 minutes to diagnose / find / repair
- there are two video's around, 1st where you just unclip, and 2nd where you strip the entire harness
- go for the quick clip one, they each pop open in parts of a second, 10 seconds 10 clips, plenty of room
- which 10 clips out of the hundreds ? its always the point at which the cable bends and stays bent
- when I did mine I deliberately did not do it the correct belt~n~braces way with solder and heat shrink sleeve
- I simply twisted the wires together [incorrect] and used top quality woven self-amalgamating tape to joint
- that way flexibility at the point of the bend that would disappear with solder & sleeve .. .. was maintained

Cheers that sounds like it may fix my problem will have a look later one my kids are in bed providing this crummy weather holds out.

- that'll be Thur or Fri if your in the UK - drink beer in the meantime - you'll fell better for it
