My daughter changed the battery on her Grand Voyager 2008 2.8 CRD and now the radio is of course asking for the unlock code. As the car is imported from Germany to Finland there was a little bit trouble to get the code in the first place but now we have it.

What is unclear now is how the code is entered as there is the digit 9 in the code and there are only 6 station buttons on the radio?

Can anybody please help with the correct procedure?

 

I think if, say, the code is 1234, you press 1 once, 2 twice, 3 three times and 4 four times then 5 to accept the code.
So if the first number was a 9, you would press 1, 9 times.
