Default Rear axle bushing problem

Good day and Happy New Year. I have a 2015 Town and Country Limited. There seems to be an on-going issue with this vehicle. The shocks were replaced after 10,000 miles, then replaced again due to noise issues along with the front struts last February. The noise is back and after replacing the shocks four (yes, 4) times until they found a good set, the noise is still there. During this current repair, they replaced some parts in the front end (unknown) that were covered under warranty, but the installation of the parts was not covered ($600). After several techs drove the car and they had a collaboration with other techs from other dealers, they have come to the conclusion that the rear axle and its bushing are the cause of the noise. They estimate $1200 to replace the axle and bushing (not under warranty). They also said the collaboration of the techs brought out the fact that this appears to be a known problem with Town and Country units. Does anyone out there have any knowledge of this issue? If it's a known issue, why isn't there a recall? Thanks for any help with this.
